The birds sing a song of silence
Tears fall like the sound of thunder
Light turns to dark with
the sound of ripples in the distance
Lost hope is as dark as the abyss
Wasting away under the weight of sorrow
While time slows to a stop
The piercing pain of existence
Becomes a bitter part of life
standing in utter darkness
It becomes my friend
