People tend to take life for granted
Letting time slip by
To quickly to really comprehend
I’m one of these people
I’ve promised to do a lot
Most of which I haven’t done
Or plan to do
Always conjuring up the perfect excuse
Letting my life and the people around me disappear
Putting an end to these intentions of my past
