A petal:
So velvety
So colorful
So pure
A stem:
So tall
And thin
And pokey
A leaf:
So round
And smooth
And green
A flower:
So beautiful
So hopeful
So innocent
With a life that should liken,
Existing in way that is forgotten.
A life:
A time to learn
A time to grow
A time to strengthen to face the wind
A flower: one life to live
