We Cannot Afford

We cannot afford to lend.
We cannot afford to spend.
We cannot afford to rely
On those other guys (the gov’t).
Our nation’s pockets are empty
But our gov’t is still spending.
I would like to send congress a letter.
But it wouldn’t make our gov’t or our economy any better.
