Windows
I look out the window and it seems like somebody just closed the door
I don’t feel anything, and there’s nobody to feel for
I look out the window and the only thing I see
Is my reflection staring back at what used to be me
Some people say things will change if you just stick around
But I’ve been waiting my whole life to get up from the ground
I try to find somewhere to stay, somewhere I might fit in
I try to make new friends, but I have no where to begin
Staring out this window I float away and feel better
I don’t have to think about, the times we had together
Nothing’s real, nothing’s hurt, and nothing’s left to say
Staring out this window..I can pretend I feel ok
