Life like a Computer
My life is like a computer,
Autonomous tasks each day,
Lightning fast speeds.
But not all is basic binary.
Duking it out with disc read errors,
Vicious viruses,
Horrendous hackers.
Running into recursive loops,
Being latched down with lag.
Confronting system crashes,
Ominous overheatings.
But I have not met
The Blue Screen of Death.
I continue to compute,
Downloading improved upgrades,
Expanding my hard drives,
Greeting each new glitch,
As a challenge along the way.
There will always be new operating systems,
More proficient processors,
Within each fresh wave of technology,
To keep my hardware alive.
