Mommy
We have our ups and downs
Just like all relationships do
But I wouldn’t trade it for anything
And I know neither would you
We can laugh and joke around
Any way we want and choose
Without having to worry about
What or who we could lose
You’ve always been there
No matter what mistake I make
And I hope you will never lose faith
Or your trust in me and my ways
I never thought a mother and daughter’s bond
Could be so close and meaningful these days
Until the day I woke up and realized
You’ve never let me down or pushed me away
I can’t tell you how glad I am
To have a mom as wonderful as you
And in case I don’t say it enough,
Mommy, I love you
