More wretched than a lie
More wicked than a sin
Its a fever you cant sweat out
A battle you cant win
An ugly gray scar
You cant bear to show
Its the curses you uttered
The things no one can know
Its the thing that eats at you
While you try to sleep at night
Its the words you fear too much to say
And the times you think you might.
Its the way i feel
When i think about my past
Its a fever i cant sweat out
And a misery that will last
