Silent Screams
Nobody cares to listen,
To my silent screams,
In their selfish thoughts,
They are deaf to my pleas.
I beg them not to leave me,
In very settle ways,
Yet in their snickering dust,
Is where I continue to lay.
Everyone sees my smile,
Saying everything is fine,
But what they don’t see,
Is the tears behind my eyes.
I just want to be a part of someone,
Who actually cares for me,
Who isn’t constantly deaf,
To my silent screams.
