Life isn't about surviving the storm, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Remember when you were four?
When the bright yellow sun seemed to jump
Out of boxes of crayons and
The world seemed restrained to
Your side of the street

Remember when monsters
Still hid in the dark and
A shoebox zoomed through space
The galaxy running through your fingers
On superman sheets

Remember when all issues just disappeared
In a hug and a tear rolling down your cheek
Was just a toy broken or a lost game of
Kickball but still slipping away
Riding along with the drop
Down your cheek
On the ground
Forgotten
Moving on
Always moving on.

I LOVE THIS!! this is so true and really brought out childhood memories. how things were once soooo important to us, or things we feared, of things we LOVED and would cry about..but then how we forget them so quickly only to descover something even more amazing..an ongoing cycle. great message. wonderful meaning:)
