Road of Life
Never before has a challenge seemed so rough,
On this road of life I must be physically and mentally tough.
I’ve felt feelings of rejection, feelings of joy
Who knew all of these ideas would come from a once young boy.
Things haven’t always been this way,
I used to be carefree like the trees how they sway.
But now I am older and have realized
What all these figures and ideas have symbolized.
They symbolize a life I was bound to live,
A life in which receive is second place to give.
So share your wealth and give the poor people face,
It could have just as easily been you in that place.
And in conclusion, I have but few words to say,
Listen up and you’ll live life the happy way.
Do your best and look to the bright side,
Grab life by the horns and enjoy the ride.
