Life's Maze
I wake up in the morning,
To find myself at the starting point of a maze,
Trying to reach the other side,
With walls all around me and no clue at all,
I walk aimlessly,
Only to be more lost and confused,
Every time I take a step further.
I keep my hopes high,
Only to open up to doors of empty dreams,
To be disappointed all over again.
I refuse to give up, but,
Like a hamster running on a thread mill,
I keep on coming back to where I started.
I keep on walking,
Finding my way out of the maze of life,
To be out in the open,
Where I can finally see God’s plan for me.
Sometimes I wonder,
When will I finally come to know myself,
To know my way in life,
To be satisfied,
To be free from life’s maze.
