Broken heart
From one I thought who cared
Scars in unseen ways
Trust betrayed
Inflicted harm
Lost in an emotionless maze
Respect denied
Flows both ways
Losing esteem deep with in me
Sadness seeps through my heart
Love from you is a far off dream
My soul filled deep with anger
I shut you out
To sustain life long pain
Time groans on
Memories fade
Deep wounds though
Still remain
My life will continue to grow
My heart however
Will only further deepen with pain
Maybe one day you’ll see
Everything you’ve done to me
And wake up one day and end my nightmare
But until then
I’m forced to remember
