Tell me, what words could tell a lifetime whole?
There are none; too few to describe the soul.
A curious thing is the writer's pen
That touches hearts and minds and transforms men,
Yet could not perform so simple a task
as showing myself should one person ask.
But if in my works one carefully reads,
He may catch a few brief glimpses of me.
