Sometimes I Have Thoughts...
Why do these thoughts drift astray
--as clouds across a light blue stage
In my eternally growing mind they stay
--now blustery winds hurricane rage
What calms these thoughts like clouds
--Not of warm waters or stilling seas
But these lonesome waves riding shrouds
--That chastely long for a creative breeze
Although golden rays lay heavily upon them
--And dolphins leap like spontaneous schemes
They wail like wind-mills in blissful perpetuum
--For creating staggering newfound dreams
And these dreams will take to the praying sky
--Like birds motivated to fly even higher
For they can sense fulfillment whistling by
--Glory, fame, riches, notorieties they aspire
