Father time hear me out
I need you to slow it down
You been moving way too fast
On life I've been losing ground
All around me things changing
I don't know what to do
And while I'm wondering you keep moving
I question if you are true
You say you heal all wounds
But I remain a battered soul
I desperately try to stop you
But you’re moving out of control
I am growing old and you don't care
You just keep flying right on by
I have trying to avoid this day
But I guess it’s my time to die
