I Wear The Scars Of The World MAG

Every time a child's cry pierces the sky,
And blood is shed like colored paint,
I weep and yet again must die,
For a world which I sought to create
Every time love is lost with time,
I am pierced through the heart,
And yet still I will climb,
Bring a flood for a clean start
Only because I love my children of the Earth,
And feel their hopes and dreams alight,
For them this Christmas shall there be a birth,
That will calm with a heavenly sight
Because I will wear your scars with hope,
And keep you embraced within my wing,
That reassuring and helpful rope,
From your friend and everlasting
King.

It was very creative to write the poem from the eyes of the Lord. He truly does wear the scars of the world.

Thanks so much! I'll check out some of your work:)... You seem to like the same kinds of stories as I do. I'm a huge fan of the Host and Vampire Academy. I just finished Spirit Bound. I hope Rose ends up with Dimitri:)
