Sometimes I pretend
Sometimes I pretend that I am the air that you breathe
And as that air I would find my way to your heart so I could make you believe
Sometimes I pretend you still want to try
Then I remember that you loved her so you said goodbye
Sometimes I pretend that know people I dont
And that those people knew how hurt I was lying here alone on the ocean front
Sometimes I pretend that Im in your mind
Then I could finally know how all your mistakes intertwined
Sometimes I pretend that I know who you are
I hope that one day this wound will close and scar
Sometimes I pretend that you loved me
Yet you see right through me
So I continue pretending that I am the air you breathe.
