Never Have You
The tears roll down,
My heart breaks in two,
As I come to realize,
I will never have you.
The pain stung,
As my heart hung,
On a single strand of thread,
It’s only begun.
No air could enter,
As my lungs collasped,
As I come to realize,
You were my last.
My heart just dangles,
Like a spider on thread.
It finally breaks off,
To the floor with a glassy spread.
No more heart;
No more pain,
As I finally realize,
I could never gain.
The tears roll down.
My heart is in more than two,
As I come to realize,
I will never have you.
