Through The Eyes Of A Stranger MAG
Through the Eyes of a Stranger
He looked at me
searchingly.
But did he see me?
Did he see my
dreams?
My hopes and fears,
Who I am,
Who I want to be?
Did he see me?
Did he see my
scared knee
From my first bike ride?
Did he see my broken heart,
and the tears I've shed?
Or my red toenails?
Did he see me?
Did he see
My want of freedom
and security?
My first kiss,
My wish on last night's star?
Did he see me?
Or did he see,
Brown hair,
Blue eyes,
A teenage girl.
Is that why he turned,
And walked away?
