Night MAG
Above me I see white.
Dusk is late tonight
and the moon is nowhere to be seen.
Night really lives in the corner of the sky
hiding from luminations.
But I have no doubt
that night will come out
and invade the heavens with fiery crystals.
Soon, the sun will be forced to show its defeat.
Sure enough, night descends,
spreading her star-crossed sheath,
stifling the sun and biting the light
with sharp and deadly teeth.
Darkness crashes in.
I cough, choking on the black mist.
A clock chimes -
it is the unnamed hour.
A candle flickers.
Night.
