Broken Heart
You broke my heart,
and you still had the nerve
to come back and think
that everything would be the same.
You thought that life would go on.
You thought I would change.
But the joke's on you,
because I have.
I'm not going back
to your way of life.
I'm not going back to having
no time for family or friends.
If you want someone who:
doesn't have a brain of her own,
looks exactly like a clone,
go find a cheerleader.
'Cuz now I have my own life.
And it doesn't revolve around you.
I'm now my own person,
and you can't change that.
