Chronically Learning
Chronic means forever.
No cure.
Not leaving.
Stuck with this, indefinitely.
It's daunting.
You cry.
You'll never "get over it"
physically
or
emotionally.
BUT
there's hope.
One day, someday
cure found or not
your chronic illness becomes
"a thing"
not "THE thing"
not you.
I'm chronically learning,
chronic means lifelong
not lifeLESS.

I love reading a piece with true meaning. You have great motivation in your writing. Very good job, keep writing!
And if you get a chance, if you could check out my new story Final Regards, I would greatly appreciate the feedback.
Really though, keep writing. You have a purpose for writing. Writers like you are the ones who are going to make a difference.
