Together as One
Together as One
The ocean’s tide rushed to the surface
And brought with it a cluster of pebbles
Pebbles that were as big as an enclosed fist
To the size of a pin
All different colors
Ranging from white and black, to some with an hint of orange
Some with fossils of animals that dated back to thousands of year
To little sediments yet to be stone
Pebbles in all shapes and sizes
All colors and age
They all have one thing in common: they are all rocks
Brought together by the tides of the ocean
From the Sea of Japan to the Mediterranean
From the Black Sea to the Red Sea
From the Caribbean to the Bering Sea
Washed from all parts of the world
And dumped onto the same shore
The variety of colors and shapes really make a difference
And add to the beauty of the angelic seashore
All the pebbles on the shore are in unison
They form one of the best things in the world
Like when humans come together from all cultures
And make the impossible possible
