A Figure In The Corner
There's a man sitting at the door
Who looks as if he might have a gun
But it would be concealed deep within his jacket
And those eyes are haunting me
They look like they might need to
But would hasten to pull out the gun and use it
A beautiful sight
The anger suppressed in him
Hidden in the night
And I see him turn to look at me
The buttons on his coat will say enough despite the gun
Because the way he dresses speaks for him
He's into fashion, and likewise
And somehow when he walks he brings a doubled aura
Of innocence and of darkness...
