Long Overdue.
They are beautiful
They aren’t perfect
They might not understand, but they try to.
They make mistakes
They are forgiven
They still hold it on their shoulders.
They don’t think they raised me right
They raised me to perfection
They built me with wide shoulders and a big heart.
They think I hate them
They blame themselves for everything
They wish I was little forever.
But I’m here to tell them, I am who I am
And instead of blaming them
I thank them.
To my parents.
