The Storm
A mournful whisper, anguished wail,
Lack of life and extra despair.
And once you see the truthful trail,
You’ll realize life just isn’t fair.
Anguished howls, banished crying,
Starvation’s killing in the night.
Then more people begin dying
When the storm comes, ready to fight.
The storm is set, wanting to slay,
The maimed moan, beg for forgiveness.
She kills off all like killing prey,
The dead are debris in a mess.
In one final crash, they’re all gone,
Beautifully gruesome demise.
The empty bodies lay alone
Except one soul who fears the skies.
So I tell my story to spare
Others from such a grisly fate,
For if the Earth does not get care,
She’ll, like before, give us all hate.
