Love and Death
Beyond the path,
lay the rounds we made,
as two loves, entwined in the wrath,
of those who will fall,
to age and doubt,
to hit a force, a wall,
to destroy these beams,
these supports, to break these seams,
and to those who rise,
to live and love,
they will die, a guise?
memory lies, but do lies speak truth,
for in this world, to pull the tooth,
we forget, and to forget,
is to die, and walk to the gate.
