when all is said and done
will we feel used and worn out
or accomplished and experienced?
when our lives really start
and we wake up from this 3rd dimension nightmare
will we play by the rules?
because this generation isn't a failure
we're not geniuses or heroes
we're sneaky and we don't give a damn
of course we learned from the best
do we drink to forget?
do we smoke to smile?
do we *** to feel?
do we fight out of fear?
in school they taught us
"actions speak louder than words"
so here we are
at the top of our lungs
this is the american dream
