Skunk MAG
Icould smell the scent of a skunk this morning
(your favorite smell)
On theway to school
I breathed it in deep
And let its identity
Change me
Ibecame the girl
Who followed you
Who watched your every move
Andmemorized your words
The girl
Who noticed every imperfection
And fell inlove with them
Who hungered for your arms
And fed on the lies youtold
Then the smell faded
And I adjusted
Rubbed my nose
Inhaled thefresh air
And found
Me
