In the park, they parted ways, tears staining their cheeks. 

"We won't hate each other," she vowed, squeezing his hand.

Months passed, bitterness simmered. He reached out, but she ignored his pleas.

Their promise fractured with each ignored message, leaving him alone with their shattered memories, the weight of her indifference heavier than hate.
