There You Are
I walked alone and unprotected,
afraid but brave as well.
I felt invisible; undetected
But, you were there.
I've been hurt by those I love,
and loved by those I hurt.
I'm afraid to love because of;
Are you there?
I am so young still,
I can't know what you want.
Your desires of me stay unfulfilled,
Yet, there you are!
I used to walk alone and unprotected,
afraid but brave as well.
To you I've always been visible; detected
There you are.
