He Didn't Pull The Trigger
He didn't pull the trigger,
be he is the reason she is dead.
Because of the pain he caused her,
she put a bullet through her head.
Because of the gun's noise no one heard he scream.
She had already made her choice,
but no one knew of her tormented dreams.
The dreams she dreamed of him,
and the love that they once shared.
She took her life because he refused to care.
She loved him with all she could,
and he left her all alone.
Her heart was still with him,
the night that trigger was pulled.
And before she took her life,
she whispered " I will always love you",
as the rain fell dark and cold.
But her last words went unheard,
As the gun roared and the thunder rolled.
