Traversing the halls, my personality feels trapped.

The light shackled down by steel gray chains,

an ink black fog drowning the gleaming yellow

On the outside nothing seems to be different, I just seem tired.

Sitting in class I feel as if I start to drown in the fog.

Inside the chain make strawberry red marks on my wrists,

the fog is dense like an ashy campfire smoke.

I want the sunflower yellow back, but the dusty black smoke makes me too tired.

A buzz? What now?

I reach down to grab my snowy white, decorated phone.

Seeing his sunset pink name on my screen,

fills my heart with rays of golden yellow warmth.

“Good morning <3”

The texts seem to gleam in lilac purple,

filling my soul with painted colors.

No more do I feel as if I was ever tired.
