Luna
I look up to the sky studded with the stars,
Hiding mother nature’s scars.
I look up,
As I drown in the same sky,
I watch it all happen
Under the same moon, the same sky
And play along to the gale’s tune.
Oh, dear Luna!
While I’ve lost all life,
You hear my stories,
And stay with hope and strive.
Been chasing stars all this while,
When it was the moon that made me smile
Tell me dear Luna,
Can you stay forever?
I look up to you each night,
As you gleam at me,
While I caress heather.
A part of me drives away,
You bring it back to me.
Dark yet bold,
A cribber, I’m told,
You shine, from someone else’s light,
Whilst you ignite the dark nights.
I’ve found peace in your beauty
While my mind was at war.
You’ve got many faces dear Luna,
Yet, you shine your brightest torch.
The moon kisses my face,
As I drown in its gleam.
In this constellation of life,
There’s many that I fear,
Though you, dear Luna, are always near.
I wake up as the sun calls to me,
It tells me how Luna shines from it’s beam,
And that is where,
And how,
Dear Luna,
I realize,
It’s all just a dream.

I've poured down all my feelings in this poem, it's indeed a close one to my heart :) And truly, the moon inspires us, to always keep shining, whatever phase we're in.
