Deceived
In shadows deep, where truth lies veiled,
A tale unfolds, of hearts assailed.
Deceived, we wander midst the fray,
Where trust is worn, in shades of gray.
Like whispered secrets, soft and sly,
Deception dances, catching our eye.
Its guise, a mask of charm and grace,
Yet behind the smile, darkness we face.
Oh, the sting of words, so sweetly spun,
Promises shattered, hopes undone.
For in the web of deceit we’re caught,
Betrayed, our innocence dearly bought.
Deceived, we stumble, lost in the haze,
No solace found in remorseful days.
In wounded hearts, scars silently etch,
A testament to the lies they fetch.
But from this anguish, strength will rise,
As we reclaim what the deceiver defies.
For truth, though fragile, burns within,
Urging us forward, to love again.
So let us learn from the deceit we find,
To seek authenticity, unbind
From webs woven by beguiling art,
And mend the pieces of our broken heart.
For in the depths of our darkest hour,
A resilience blooms, a newfound power.
We rise above, transcending the pain,
Wiser souls, stronger after the reign.
Deceived, but not defeated, we shall stand,
The lessons learned etched upon our hand.
With empathy and understanding in tow,
We forge a path where true hearts may grow.

I wanted to write and share this poem to show people that even when hurt or lied to you can still find the truth and you will be okay if not better than okay!
