ADHD
ADHD
By Lucian Bergeron
In the kaleidoscope of fleeting thoughts,
Where reverie dances, wild and untamed,
There lies a world untethered, uncaught,
Where the heart and mind are never maimed.
ADHD, a tempest, swirling within,
Unwavering winds, a whirlwind symphony,
A ceaseless storm of boundless creation,
Endless possibilities unlocked, set free.
The mind, a canvas, vibrant and vast,
Painted with colors beyond mortal sight,
A kaleidoscope merging future and past,
Creating visions of electric light.
But amidst the chaos, a restless yearning,
To wrangle the echoes, to find a rhythm true,
To find solace in the mindscape’s turning,
To weave the fragments into something anew.
Days filled with racing thoughts, a cosmic race,
Yet, a flame dances bright, a fervent spark,
Illuminating paths through time and space,
Unearthing treasures, even in the dark.
For in this realm of scattered constellations,
Where concentration wanes and focus drifts,
A tapestry of brilliance finds its foundation,
Where the mind, unhindered, forever lives.
So embrace the whirlwind, ADHD’s embrace,
For in its intricate chaos, beauty exists,
The poets, dreamers, all creators find their place,
Their restless hearts eternally insist.
For it is through this prism, untamed and bold,
That new worlds are unveiled, stories unfold,
And though the storm may rage, never relent,
ADHD's fire burns with a brilliance, heaven-sent.

I wrote this poem about ADHD because I personally struggle with ADHD and I know it can be hard and that a lot of others struggle with ADHD too, but I also wanted to get the point across that it's not all bad and you got this, we got this.
