Mia's Rays
Mia was a ray of sunshine. Nothing seemed to bring her down. Her smile was beautiful and contagious, you could feel yourself smiling, even on a somber day. Her thick, black hair that stopped at her neck, flowing in the wind like a cape. Her tan skin looking radiant as the sun graced it with it’s rays.
To her, life seemed to stand still. Her heart racing with excitement for the day to come. It felt like she had her life together. Not bothering to hear the haunting whispers from behind.
Today, she was even happier, radiating positivity even at a mile away as she walked with her friends, looking at the palm trees stand as high as her friends viewed her. She was comfortably dressed on her leopard printed shirt, thin enough so she could feel the wind carry her along the road.

We all have Mia in our lives. A person who is so confident. Someone who doesn't let anyone drag them down.
What fills your head? Envy, perhaps? Yes. Envy. Oh, how I wish to be her.
A free spirit.
