Lagging
Like a flood over me that quickly heals, you and I are two fish from the same water
The plants in the ocean sprout and grow, but avoiding it got traveled to a far off stream
Where the water is shallow and the sun heats what is supposed to be cold
I depend on the weather to carry me upstream but the seasons hesitate rational change
I'm a misplaced fish, in an ocean of lack of oxygen
Where my main source has floated towards the horizon, and I am lagging behind
It's hard to cry underwater
