Going out in public places can feel like a long-lasting nightmare.

As if I could feel pierced stares looking at me.

Like ghosts wandering by.

Giving shivers down my spine.

It's as if people’s whispers sound like terrifying shrieks.

Howling at me.

As if I feel like an inanimate being.

Wanting to hide in nothingness.

But I try to start thinking about something positive about myself.

Like the rarest jewel, anyone can find it in the deepest mine shaft.

So I would try to contemplate those thoughts.

Trying my hardest to barricade out the darkest thoughts that can take over.

Like a devouring beast.

Ready for its next meal.
