in a car MAG

By Anonymous

i sit and think
of my troubles that go on forever
the black leather sticks to my skin
and i watch as i see that it is true
when they say leather is more water resistant
than the cloth seats
short white lines become one
and above is a blur of green
all being passed by so fast
that you aren't able to appreciate their beauty
going too fast
not caring if i were to hit anything
{deja vu}
until a splash of red comes into the mix
i continue to daze out
first the red is the light
then i notice the red flower beside my car
i've driven for hours
only to end up where all my pain started
at a red light
i thought had been green
the red flower decorated the cross
the cross decorated the spot that
you died
in a car
i sit and cry
