A Flight from France
She let out a sigh
As the clouds began to dance
For all she wanted to do was cry
Her tears lay so dry
In the grand place of romance
In the late summer warmth of July
The sky gave a cry
Giving her almost no chance
To announce a well proper goodbye
She was up so high
Looking down on lovely France
She was so very frightened to fly
Slipping a subtle hi
He gave her a little glance
And she smiled letting out no reply
Her tears remained dry
Giving her some esperance
As she urged to comply with the man
With the fair lovely man who wiped her dry eye
This piece was inspired by my love for rain, and traveling. Hence, I combined the two and wrote this piece!
