royal ice/sea beauty,

her waters flow still.

seagulls sing her songs,

clouds bring her silver.

sat upon this cold rockbed,

lost in a sea of mirrors,

a lonesome fisherman

waits for his prize.

shadows slither

beneath the ice,

blowing bubbles

to the surface.

her breath trapped

beneath cold hands,

her waters, still,

beauty intact.

weeping salty tears,

our fisherman shoreside;

i hope to see his smile.
