THAT TIME OF THE YEAR IS FINALLY HERE
It's here once again
The time of the year
Were children should be happy
The time of the year
When food is never sloppy
Everyone’s house glows
Everyone’s face shows
That the time of the year
Is finally hear
Children write list
Lots of things
Of things they want
Of things they need
Some ask for shoes,
That is either bright red or blue
Some ask for hoes
To use to till their crops
Some a new teddy bear
That must be really cute
Or a bike with three wheels
Called a tricycle
I ask for a loving family
That I can call my own
I’ve never gotten it
But I’m still making my wish
Sometimes we get what we want
Sometimes we don’t
But yet on this faithful day
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas
