The Frozen Masquerade
Remaining there day in and day out
As the ivy and growth matures around them
The never changing dance continues
Their masks hiding all emotions from sight.
Listen as the violin plays softly with the breeze
Repeating the same old song yet again as we turn away
Not wanting to be trapped to this broken record of a life
No matter how beautiful it seems
For we are human, warm and alive
And they remain cold during their chilled masquerade
We must walk away for no human can survive here
In the Frozen Masquerade
