Breaking Glass

Can you hear my screams in the darkness
or see my tears come down with a beat of rain
can you feel as the rain washes them away
so no one will see it hurts me this way
do you hear the breaking glass
as my heart shatters of fear
blood-stained shards shatter
as i collapse with each tear
dreams slipping away with the whisper of the wind
hope fading like a once strong will to fight
and though i will fight with the last of my strength
i will fall in each battle till both love and war are lost
