Dead but Not Forgotten
I never really knew you,
Didn’t have the time,
And I had no clue
And nor did you,
I remember your warm hugs,
Kind eyes,
And carefree laughs,
You always thought in different ways,
You always had something to say,
And you always made us smile,
And you still do,
I was way too young to understand,
But all I knew was that you were gone,
I miss seeing you,
Wish I could’ve really known you,
But I didn’t have the time,
I had no clue,
And nor did you.
