Love
Love.
What is
Love? I could
Tell you the “true”
Definition straight
From a textbook, read you
A list of prosaic nouns and
Tedious adjectives ‘till
Your mind is so stuffed with perfectly
Uniform sentences that you might burst
But
To me
Love is more.
To me, love is
The feeling I get
When my mom kisses me
Goodnight. To me, love is the
Comfort of a warm fireplace and
A full couch. To me, love cannot be
Complex. To me, love is my family.
