Freedom
Freedom is something we say we want
But what sort of freedom would be worth wanting
We can never be totally free
No matter what we do
Self-determination and freedom of thought
Is our own little way of being free
The quality of our freedom
Cannot be publicly assessed
Until we have established
Whether and to what extent
The choices we make are based on adequate understanding
