Life Does Not Want Us
Crunch of the autumn leaves
Grass turning the color of mud
Sky gray with sorrow
Rightfully so, many are crying
People often find comfort in this weather
Not today, today we bury a precious flower
Loved by all except life itself
But it is not a problem for the flower
Death has enough love for them
Many have no understanding of death
But it accepts all plants nonetheless
They fear death, until they wither
Delicate petals held in delicate hands
Death is gentler than a thin sheet of ice
They kindly holds a hand out for the taking
It is time for the little flower
A blanket of dirt made for them
The plant, finally safe, finally home

A different take on death, my take on death. It is the reason I don't fear dying, I find comfort in the thought that one day, we will stop existing.
